How we work
-
Tell us about the return
Start with client registration and describe who the return concerns, the tax year or reporting period, any countries involved and the deadline. Registration is not an order.
-
Agree the scope and records
We assess the return, annexes and expertise needed, and explain the proposed scope. We tell you which records are required and whether authorisation is needed for the agreed work.
-
Review and calculate
We review the figures and documents, consider the tax consequences and follow up any questions with you. Where relevant, we coordinate with your accountant or advisers in another country.
-
Explain and prepare for filing
You receive an explanation of the result and what needs to be submitted. We agree how filing will be handled and can assist with subsequent questions from the Swedish Tax Agency within the agreed scope.

Frequently asked questions about Swedish tax returns
Which tax returns can you help with?
We assist individuals, businesses, associations and foundations with Swedish income tax returns and relevant annexes. We also help with VAT, PAYE and excise returns, including alcohol and tobacco tax, according to the assignment.
Can you help if I live outside Sweden?
Yes. We can assess the Swedish filing questions that arise from your income, investments, property or other connections to Sweden. Tell us where you live and which countries are involved so the position can be reviewed.
Can you help with foreign income or assets?
Yes. We review the Swedish reporting requirements, relevant tax treaty questions and whether foreign tax relief may be available. Local advice can be coordinated when the rules in another country also need to be considered.
Can you coordinate the company’s and owner’s returns?
Yes. For owner-managed businesses, the annual accounts, company return and personal annexes often need to be considered together. We agree which parts are included and which records we need from you or your accountant.
Can you correct a return that has already been filed?
Yes. The appropriate route depends on the return, whether a tax decision has been issued and the relevant time limits. We assess whether a change, supplementary information or a request for review is appropriate.
What if the filing deadline is close or has passed?
Contact us and explain the deadline, the return concerned and which documents are available. We will assess what help is possible and how quickly the work can be done. Client registration does not extend a tax filing deadline.
Can you arrange a filing extension?
We can assess whether an extension may be available for the particular return and circumstances. Conditions and deadlines differ, and an extension must not be assumed until the applicable requirements have been checked.
Do I need to know which form or annex I need?
No. Describe what happened during the year or reporting period and who the return concerns. Identifying the relevant return, annexes and supporting information is part of defining the assignment.
Can I get help with just one part of the return?
Yes. We can agree a limited assignment, such as a particular annex, a tax calculation or a review of specific figures. Tell us what you have already prepared and which questions you want help with.
What documents are needed, and what will it cost?
The records, time and fee basis depend on the scope, the quality of the information and the deadline. After an initial review, we can explain the proposed approach and any additional documents or authorisations needed.
